History of American Architecture. It was interesting to discover how the history of American architecture is closely linked to the politics and religion of each era. I enjoyed learning about the evolution of architectural styles and the reasons behind the design choices of buildings in different historical periods.

The most impactful place I have ever visited was my childhood summer camp, YMCA Storer Camp. There, I gained essential life skills that have benefited me both professionally and socially, along with creating incredible memories that will last a lifetime.

What is the most interesting class you have taken in your studies?
The most interesting class I took in college was Investigative Journalism. My professor was a Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist who reported on Kwame Kilpatrick, and I learned how to request access to court documents using the Freedom of Information Act.
Describe one thing you loved to do growing up.
Growing up, I loved spending summers in Traverse City with my family. My grandparents had a condo right on Traverse Bay, and we spent a lot of time on the beach, in the lake, watching sailboats from the balcony, and at the Cherry Festival.
What TV game show would you want to go on?
I would love to be a contestant on “Wheel of Fortune” because of my love for words, because I grew up watching it with my parents, and because I still watch it most days. Shouting out the answers is easy at home when there's no pressure, but I'm sure I'd get nervous if I were actually there!
